This gentleman is visually and hearing impaired and lives in a hotspot area of burglaries and anti-social behaviour. Previously he had been supplied with a door-bar by the Community Safety Partnership. Mrs Turner lives alone in a block of 22 other older residents in a hotspot suffering from a spate of burglaries and a high number of cold callers. Following a burglary whilst asleep in my bed at night, I researched various ways of keeping the nasty thieving oinks out of my house. As I have a UPVC door this was not straight forward. The Secure ring chain is wonderful! It is very strong, extremely easy to install and use and does exactly what is says it will in your descriptions.
